Role Summary

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Modem UI Software Engineer who has a sound understanding of all aspects of user interface software development for complex communications systems. Experience of cross-platform user interface development using modern web frameworks, JavaScript, HTML and CSS is required.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience of cross-platform (Windows, Linux, MAC, Android), user interface software development using modern web frameworks (node.js/Electron/Express), JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience of TCP/IP networking protocols and network management such as bridging/routing, VLANs, SNMP, DHCP, AAA RADIUS, traffic shaping and Software Defined Networks (OpenFlow)
• Graduate with minimum of 5 years’ experience in wireless telecoms or a closely related field

Highly Desired Skills

• Experience of node.js, Electron and SQL database development
• Experience of C/C++ is highly desirable Experience of agile development, design patterns, object-oriented design and configuration management
• Experience of developing high reliability, safety critical and fault tolerant systems
• Knowledge of satellite modem, wireless communications and telecommunications in general
