TXMission Launches UAV C-band Transceiver and Modem

TXMission is pleased to announce the launch of a new C-band transceiver for UAV and HAPS applications. The Quest™ UAV C-band Transceiver is a low weight, size and power assembly comprising an SSPA, LNA and high-isolation duplexer (allowing transmit and receive to share a single port to the antenna). It has been specifically designed to allow airborne operation at heights up to and including the stratosphere.

The Quest™ UAV C-band Transceiver is matched to our new Quest™ UAV Onboard Modem. Based on our flagship Quest™ smallsat modem, the feature set of the modem has been carefully selected to provide the waveforms and performance needed by airborne applications, such as 4G/5G, IoT, telecoms, edge computing, intelligence gathering and ground observation. The Quest™ UAV supports DVB-S2/S2X at data rates up to 1Gbps. This capability and feature set is mirrored in our new Connect™ UAV Ground Station Modem. All communications between the two modems can optionally be passed over a secure VPN tunnel that is encrypted using AES-256.
